Dave Jones, CEO, Project Manager
Jens' Dave Jones has been with the organization since 1989. Dave has 40-plus years of experience in health & elder care, food processing, cold storage, laboratory, high-tech industrial, and manufacturing plant construction projects. Dave is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin. He is also a past president of the Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee and remains active in that organization.
Dan Schneider, President, Project Manager
Dan Schneider joined Jens Construction team in 2014 as an assistant project manager. Prior to Jens, he has seven years of experience working for one of the nation's largest contractors. He has worked on a variety of projects including military dormitories, multi-story office buildings, concrete parking structures, and industrial facilities. Dan is a 2008 graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a degree in Building Construction Management.
Brian Ertman, Vice President, Project Manager
Brian Ertman became a member of the Jens Construction team in 2014 as a project manager. Prior to Jens, Brian worked for one of the country's largest Construction Managers for 15 years. He brings extensive experience in healthcare, renovations, cost management, quality and safety. Brian is a May 2000 Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. He has earned his LEED-AP and is an Eagle Scout. Brian also has OSHA 30hr and ASHE Certifications.
Steve Carr, Secretary, Project Manager
Steve Carr joined Jens Construction in 2017 as a project manager. Prior to Jens, Steve worked in construction and operations management for a large multi-national grain processing firm. His project experience includes industrial building, process improvement design and installation, underground utilities, and office renovations. Steve graduated in 2008 from Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Engineering, and earned an MBA from the University of Iowa Tippie School of Business in 2016.
Todd Carrao, Superintendent
Field coordinator Todd Carrao has been a member of the Jens team since 2003. With more than 25 years in commercial construction, Todd's extensive knowledge of the construction process coupled with his ability to provide excellent coordination between the owner, architect, contractor, and subcontractors helps to quickly and efficiently resolve difficulties without compromising the owner's best interests.
In addition to the above, we employ a highly skilled field staff of superintendents, foreman, carpenters, cement masons and laborers that perform all related work to on-site supervision, concrete, rough and finish carpentry, metal studs and drywall, acoustical ceilings and site safety.
